NEW Lime Crime Liquid Lipstick in Shade Pink Velvet …
Most of my followers know I am a huge fan of Lime Crime’s Red Velvet Liquid Lipstick and use it on most of all my make-up jobs (when required a red lip) so, every time Lime Crime tease me with a new product releasing on their social media I sit and wait patiently for them to be available online in the UK from www.cocktailcosmetics.co.uk! I have been so excited to try this NEW pink shade and couldn’t wait to blog about it.
The NEW Pink Velvet shade is a bright pink with blue undertones, meaning it suits most skin tones. Reflecting different shades of the pink in different lighting. It goes neon pink in the day light and a deep pink with red undertones in the evenings! Just magic in my eyes :)
Benefit’s of Lime Crime’s NEW Pink Velvet shade:
*Applies smoothly, thin, like a gloss which offers you the chance to glide the product over the lips evenly with your favourite lip brush - however, it sets into a matte, velvet texture!
*Gives a beautiful even finish. Similar, to some of my favourite MAC matte lipsticks ( Ruby Woo). Achieving that perfect retro finish with a non-drying finish to the lips.
*This liquid-to-lipstick consistency has a lasting finish on the lips, with an amazing lip stain finish, meaning there’s no need to worry about the constant application of this product. I just apply regularly apply to the centre of the lips after eating and drinking.
Removal of Lime Crime’s Pink Velvet shade:
Lime Crime advised me on Instagram how to remove Pink Velvet correctly, by using a waterproof make-up remover, lip balm and vaseline. This shade sure didn’t budge! So leaves a slight stain to the lips. So for those make-up artists using on a photoshoot and you require a lip change I would use the Velvetine’s till last. My favourite oil-based remover for stubborn lipsticks is Elemis White Flowers eye and lip make-up remover.
In the UK Lime Crime’s NEW Pink Velvet retails at £13.50 available on Cocktail Cosmetics. Or if you are from the U.S you can buy their products on Lime Crime’s shop website.
